Java / J2EE Developer
Our client is a highly successful NZ technology company with strong global connections. They design, develop, integrate and manage technology solutions along with working with our customers in creating business value. They have a long history of successfully delivering Software Services, Technology Services and Managed Services across a wide variety of technology platforms and business sectors. The environment is a fast-paced, dynamic and challenging and always has a variety of exciting projects on the go, both internally and for a wide range of clients.
The role is an interesting mix of implementing Java systems and general development with occasional development and support of PHP web sites.
To be considered for the role you will need the following as a minium:
- 3 – 4 Years experience
- SOA
- Portal experience ideally with expertise in Oracle Fusion
- Experience and 1 year of experience working on an agile software development team
- Portal experience with Weblogic Portal
- Experience in Agile and/or Lean software development practices
- Expertise in enterprise data driven web applications using object-oriented languages (e.g. C# or Java) and the ability to write and execute complex SQL Queries
Along with the following skill sets:
- J2EE
- Core Java 1.5 and later
- Servlet and JSP framework
- Struts, Stripes, Spring web frameworks or similar
- SOAP, Web Services frameworks
- JDBC and Hibernate
- HTML, Javascript, CSS
Along with these skills sets you should have a great attitude towards work and excellent communication with your peers. You will be able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
